A funnel is similar to a website but serves a more specific purpose rather than a general one. While a website might provide a variety of information about a business—such as its history, contact details, hours of operation, and more—a funnel is designed to guide a visitor through a specific path toward a desired action, such as making a purchase, booking a call, or scheduling an in-person appointment. If you've ever clicked on a sponsored ad from Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube and were quickly asked for your information in exchange for xyz thing, you were likely in a funnel. Yes, we build these, and almost every business should have at least one funnel.
Not at all. In fact, some people are sitting on "gold" because they've been collecting emails and phone numbers for years from their customers or leads but never properly marketed to them. There are many different strategies and approaches to reengaging these people.
As stated above, I do NOT run ads with every business from the start, as many are not ready to run them. With that said, "boosting" a post is not running an ad. This is something that the platforms do because they know that they can get some easy money out of small businesses without making them so mad that they quit the platform all together. A proper marketing campaign is complex. With respect to those who have wasted money on boosting posts, if you are not running an ad to a specific offer that collects leads into a CRM using a properly set up pixel, you definitely do not have any business running ads. This is NOT including the fact that all of those leads should then be placed into a well thought out sequence of emails, texts, phone calls, and additional offers. If you do not have these sequences set up, of course boosting a post didn't work for you. I'm happy to help show you the way!
